Granada has a mild climate characterised by its hot dry summers and mild rainy winters. The hottest months of the year are from June to September when the average temperature highs reaches 28°C (83°F) to 34°C (93°F). Snow is not unheard in Granada but rare, rain is more likely during the winter months. Temperatures seldom drop below freezing from November to April, though it can get cold and chilly. Therefore, it's advisable to bring warm clothing or a jacket when visiting Granada during the period.
