Porto, Portugal - Getting Around Porto by Metro

Porto Metro is a light rail system and currently comprises of six lines (Lines A, B, C, D, E and F) totalling 67 km (42 miles) and 81 stations - the six lines intersect at Trindade Station in central Porto. The city's metro system began operations in 2002 and is gradually expanding including plans for three more lines. The trains travel underground in the central area and then above ground as it heads into the suburbs. You can purchase tickets from the ticketing machines or a daily pass for unlimited travel.
