Malaga, Spain - Getting Around Malaga by Bus

Empresa Malaguena de Transportes (EMT) is the operator of Malaga's public bus system. The buses are a great way to get around Malaga, especially if you are not familiar with the city. Buses on most lines operate from 6:45 a.m. to around 11:00 p.m. but some operate into the late night hours. EMT buses extensively cover the city and most stop in the city centre at Alameda Principal. A single ride cost €1.30 but you can purchase a multi-travel ticket for €6 for 10 trips from the kiosk at Alameda or from the many tobacconist.
