Palma de Mallorca - Walking Around Palma's Historical Centre

Many of the interesting sites in Palma are within the historical centre, situated within a radius of 400 metres (1,300 feet) from Plaza Mayor. A major landmark here is the Palma Cathedral (Le Seu), completed in 1601 and built on the site of a pre-existing mosque. You can't miss the Old City situated in Palma's southeastern corner with its maze of narrow streets, buildings from earlier centuries and courtyards. The Banys Arab (Arab Bath) is an Arab bath building dating to the 10th century and once part of a home of an Arab nobleman.
