A scooter or moped is a convenient form of transport to get your way around town and explore the rest of the island including the more secluded beaches. Furthermore, these two-wheeler have the advantage over cars to pass through narrow streets and it's easier to find a parking space during the crowded tourist season. You can find several operators offering scooters or mopeds for rent in Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni, Santa Eularia and at the major resorts. Helmets are compulsory and there is a €200 fine for not wearing it.
