Cordoba, Spain - The Andalusian City of Cordoba

Cordoba is an Andalusian city and the capital of the province of Cordoba. It is a mid-sized city of around 350,000 people and centrally located in the Andalusian region of southern Spain. Cordoba is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and once the capital of the Roman province of Hispania Ulterior and the Caliphate of Al-Andalus. The old quarter of Cordoba is an interesting network of small streets, back alleys, hidden squares and courtyards. A must see attraction here is the 8th century Cordoba Mosque built by the Moors.
