Albufeira has a subtropical-Mediterranean climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream and Mediterranean Sea. Summers here are hot and dry while winters are mild and wet. Average temperature highs from June to September range from 25°C to 28°C (77°F to 83°F) - July and August are the hottest months and not unusual for temperatures to go beyond 35°C (95°F). December to February are the cooler months with average temperature highs around 16°C (61°F) but nights can be chilly dropping to 9°C (48°F).
