Porto, Portugal - Getting Around Porto by Tram

There are only three tram routes remaining in Porto, and operated by the city's Sociedade dos Transportes Colectivos do Porto (STCP) or Porto Public Transport Society. These vintage four-wheeled trams have wooden interiors and date back to the 1920s. Riding on the trams have become a popular tourist attraction in Porto but still used by the locals for transportation. The trams run every half hour, starting operation around 9:00 a.m. and ending by around 7:00 p.m. A single journey cost €2.50 regardless of the distance.
