Though it will cost you more than public transport, taking a hop-on hop-off bus is a great way to explore many of the interesting places in Porto. The are a number of companies offering these bus tours, usually 24-hour and 48-hour tickets - can be purchased online at several websites. Adult tickets cost around €14 for a 24-hour ticket and €16 for a 48-hour ticket, while kids pay half the rate. Recorded commentaries during the tours usually include English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, French and Italian.
