Porto's Francisco Sa Carneiro Airport is located about 15 km (9 miles) from the city centre. The airport was extensively remodelled in 2004 and is the second busiest in Portugal after Lisbon Portela Airport. The two main airlines using the airport are low-cost carrier Ryanair and TAP Portugal, offering flights from several cities across Western Europe. For ground transport, the city's metro line (Line E) connects the airport with Porto's city centre. Others modes of transport include local and private buses, taxis and car rental services.
