Taxis in Granada are white in colour with green diagonal stripe and taxi number on the front door. To get a taxi, you can wave for one along the street or head to the nearest taxi stand. Taxis are often found waiting at major hotels and tourist areas including the vicinity of the Alhambra and Plaza Nueva. The basic taxi fare to get around Granada is €8-12 and expect higher fares from surcharges (such as from the bus and train stations) and higher night tariffs. From Granada Airport to the city centre, the fare is around €24.
