Valencia, Spain - Getting Around Valencia by Bus

Empresa Municipal de Transportes (EMT) operates the public bus service in Valencia, comprising of 46 day routes and 12 night routes - in summer there are 4 additional routes to the beaches. The main bus station is at Avenida de Menedez Pidal, and from here buses cover nearly every corner of the city and into the suburbs. Ticket for a single ride cost €1.50, which you purchase when boarding. You can also purchase a card for 10 trips for €7 (plus €2 for the card) from the newspaper kiosks and OpenCor convenience stores.
