Granada Airport is a small airport handling a limited number of flights (between London, Madrid, Melilla, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca) by four European airlines. An alternative is Malaga Airport, located about 125 km (78 miles) from Granada. Malaga Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Spain, handling over 12 million passengers each year and flight connections with cities across Europe. From Malaga, there are Renfe trains, AVE high speed trains and several bus companies offering services to Granada.
