Malaga is located along the coast and experiences a Mediterranean climate with its hot dry summers and mild winters. The city enjoys plenty of sunshine with more than 300 sunny days and less than 50 days of rain a year. The summer months are from June to September, with July and August being the hottest months experiencing midday temperatures around 30°C (86°F). The winter months are from December to February with high temperatures around 13°C (55°F) and night temperatures around 8°C (46°F).
