Palma de Mallorca, Spain - Getting Around Palma by Metro

The metro train service in Palma de Mallorca began in 2007 and is operated by Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (Mallorca Railway Services). The service is not heavily used and of little interest for many visitors. The light rail system stretches a short distance of just 7 km (4.5 miles) between Plaza Espana in the city centre and the University of the Balearic Islands. There are nine stations along the route and the service operates daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., departing every 15 minutes to hourly.
