Taxis in Mallorca including Palma are painted white and metered. At Palma de Mallorca Airport, you can find taxis waiting outside Gate D of the arrival hall. In the city, you can wave for a taxi along the street or board on one from the several taxi stands across Palma. There are several taxi companies you can call to pick you up to your destination and some even offer private tours. Fares within the city are usually less than €10 and though tipping is not expected, it is around 5-10% of the metered fare.
