The coastal areas of Gran Canaria has a sub-tropical and arid climate, featuring warm weathers and sunshine throughout the year. The hottest months are from July to September with average temperature highs around 27°C (81°F). The relatively cooler months are from December to February with average temperature highs around 21°C (70°F) and night temperatures seldom below 15°C (59°F). However, expect temperatures to get cooler and colder as you move inland and up towards the highlands.
