Tenerife South Airport (formerly Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport) is the largest and busiest of the two airports in Tenerife. Most flights to the island are through this airport, located about 60 km (37 miles) from Tenerife's capital of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Flights include regular and seasonal flights from cities across Europe with the principal airlines including Ryanair, Jet2.com, EasyJet, Thomson Airways, Condor and TUIfly. Ground transport from the airport include local and shuttle buses, taxis and car rental services.
