The largest and main intercity bus station in Madrid is Estacion Sur de Autobuses (Station South). It is the main bus station for medium and long distance journeys, especially destinations in the south (including Seville, Cadiz and Cordoba) and international travels (including cities in Portugal, Italy, France, Germany and Poland). Another is Estacion de Avenida de America (North Station) used mainly buses travelling north and northeast of Madrid including Santander, San Sebastian, Pamplona and Barcelona.
