Once you arrive at Faro International Airport you can find taxis waiting outside the terminal building. The taxis not only take arriving passengers to Faro but also to other destinations in the Algarve. The journey to Faro's city centre takes 15 minutes and the fare is around €16 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and €20 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. In the city centre, you can find taxis waiting at the taxi stands at Jardim Manuel Bivar. You can also call from the several taxi companies to pick you up to your destination.
