Spain's high-speed trains have not yet reached Granada, but expected to arrive by the later part of 2015. There are train services connecting Granada with Barcelona (12 hrs), Madrid (5 hrs), Algeciras (5 hrs), Malaga (3 hrs), Seville (4 hrs) and Almeria (2 hrs). Granada Train Station is located in the city centre at
Avenida de Andaluces. From here there are taxis and local buses nearby to take you to your destination. Two car rental companies (Avis and Europcar) are also located at the station.
