Gran Canaria, Spain - Getting Around Gran Canaria by Bus

Gran Canaria's Global transport (turquoise) buses cover a network of routes across the island connecting the cities, towns and resorts. The buses are reliable but services to many of the rural areas are not well supported. For travellers arriving at Gran Canaria Airport, there are Global buses heading to the capital city of Las Palmas and tourist resort of Faro de Maspalomas. Las Palmas has its own public transport (yellow) buses called Guaguas Municipales (Municipality Bus) covering routes within the city and outlying areas.
